Info About Project Judging


  • Judges may be faculty members, scientists, post-doctoral fellows, and senior graduate students.
  • Two judges will evaluate each project. The judging sessions are in 20 minute blocks.

Each student will present to one judge at a time for a MAXIMUM of 20 minutes for each judge (hence the two presentation times).

Judging Criteria

  • Evaluation criteria include presentation style, significance, originality, methodology, and presentation quality.
  • Criteria scores will be summed to determine winners.
