Report Research Opportunity

The Office of Undergraduate Research and Community Outreach (UGR) is building a database of faculty-mentored research opportunities across all three UM campuses for the upcoming academic year. If you're seeking undergraduate students to assist with your research and are open to mentoring, we invite you to share your project details with us!

We will use this information to identify students whose research interests align with your project.  If there’s a potential match, you’ll receive an email from our office with student applications for your review. If you're interested in connecting with a student, we’ll then facilitate the introduction.

Please note that these research opportunities are voluntary and non-paid. If a student is eligible for Federal Work Study, they may arrange funding through that program. Students interested in earning academic credit must consult with their academic advisor and the faculty member offering the credit-bearing course.

Thank you for supporting undergraduate research and helping students gain meaningful academic and professional experience!
